Looking for a career? Cimarron Casino Enterprises is seeking a Golf Course Groundsman to work part-time for the Cimarron Trails Golf Center in Perkins, OK. Full-time positions are also available.

Education requirements
• High school diploma or GED required.
Experience requirements
• Previous experience as a groundsman or with landscaping is preferred.
Qualifications
• Must submit to and pass applicable drug test. The Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma operates a drug-free workplace.
• Must be bondable and able to pass background check.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for cutting trees, greens, surrounds, fairways, rough, and semi rough greens in accordance with planned design of landscaped areas.
• Set up the golf course, including changing holes, moving tee markers, indicating OOB, drop zones, and hazards.
• Prepare and maintain machinery.
• Assist with renovating worn or damaged turf.
• Help identify and control pests and diseases in order to maintain a pleasant environment for employees and guests.
• Apply top dressing and fertilizers as needed and scheduled.
• Help oversee the care and maintenance of the turf, ornamental plants, shrubs, and trees on the facility grounds.
• Assist with the planting of new vegetation, the replacement and arrangement of plant beds, and the pulling of weeds.
• Clean buildings and grounds, wash windows, and empty trash cans.
• Repair and paint any needed property on the grounds in order to keep all grounds in acceptable condition.
• Assist with snow removal and winter maintenance activities when necessary.
• Encourage mutual respect, dignity, and integrity with all employees by setting positive examples at all times.
• Instill an atmosphere that encourages employees to share ideas, discuss concerns, and resolve conflicts.
• Retain employees through involvement in employee training and development.
Skills
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.
